AFM-Pacific Pty Ltd is a specialist Forestry Equipment Dealer based in Melbourne, Australia.

In 1985 & in recognition of the increasing mechanization of timber harvesting & logging, the Company commenced operations in Mt Gambier South Australia servicing mainly the local market. Following a growing demand nationally for quality used & new forestry equipment in the early 90’s the Company re-located to a more central base in Melbourne, Victoria.

Since that time and in response to market demand, the Company’s activities have included the sale & service of new AFM Tree Harvesters – Trelan & Morbark Whole Tree Chippers, BEL Cable Logging Systems & more recently Ensign & Rosin Forestry Attachments. A business association with these suppliers continues today.

Used forestry equipment sales have always been a major part of the Company’s specialist expertise. It is with much pride we look back on the past 25 years of what we consider to be our unique & professional reputation in this regard.

Our customers are many and varied and range from North West WA & Central Queensland Sandalwood Harvesting to the Southern Eucalypt Forests of the Huon in Tasmania.

Whether it is native hardwood logging, sophisticated softwood or blue gum plantation harvesting systems, firewood operations, native cypress logging or cable logging systems, our experience covers the full forest industry spectrum.

Internationally we continue to develop a network of professional suppliers (& customers) as we move forward into the 21st century – for this is now a global forest industry!

It is with much pleasure that we find in a lot of instances we are now dealing with the children of our original customers. This web site is in fact being developed to meet the requirements of the new generation of loggers. The utmost satisfaction is derived from this simple fact, that after all of these years we can still be of service & assistance to these valued customers.
