ESP was established in 1980 and specialises in the supply of replacement parts for earthmoving machinery, diesel engines and trucks. ESP is an authorised dealer of Berco undercarriage parts since 1987.In 1996, ESP introduced TSP, a specialised division within ESP with dedicated truck parts specialists focused on serving the trucking industry. TSP (Truck Spare Parts) has its own identity and is a national operation, running parallel with ESP. The company serves the aftermarket parts industry through an extensive network of branches and distributors throughout South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Swaziland. In 2003, ESP acquired AMT Services which is a company that specialises in the manufacture and supply of G.E.T. In addition, AMT is an authorized dealer of ITM undercarriage since 1978. In 2007, GB South Africa S.p.A, a subsidiary of GB Ricambi, acquired the majority shareholding of ESP Africa (Pty) Ltd which includes the trading divisions: ESP, TSP, AMT Services and GET Warehouse.
